Octave pedal

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by The Sound of the Police, May 30, 2001.

  1. I want to find an effect that will make my bass go an octave up. I've found plenty that will go one and two octaves down, but I want to go up. And I don't want to use a harmonizer or whammy pedal. Does anyone have any ideas? One band that I'm in is just bass and drums (and wierd electronic effects), so I was thinking to get more range I could split my signal and put one an octave up and run it through another amp at a lesser volune. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Although this is not necessarily a bass pedal, the Jimi Hendrix Octave Fuzz sounds like something that you are looking for, because it has an octave effect built-in.
