i thought it would be good to collect some examples of how different octave pedals have been used in performance, both to help demonstrate the different abilities of each pedal and also to give some ideas about how to use octavers.

Here's a MicroPog being used by Michael League from Snarky Puppy. Solo begins at around 4:50

    Three great clips.

Pino sounds like he has an OC-2 going on there, and that's the same pedal that Ben Kenney from Incubus uses or has used, but whatever he's using on in that clip is a bit harder to make out. I can't make out the sound in the PIL vid - any idea?

Great doubling. Is that double octave down?

This is always the song I think of first when I think of octavers:
This one also gives me a good chuckle, watching all the white people try and dance, Gabriel and Levin not excluded. :D

This is a MicroPog, lineup is Vox, sax, drums, bass. Using it as a keyboard substitute.

It's almost 12 minutes long - lots of sax and drum solo craziness. Live recording into a Zoom H4n.

Thanks for posting Tony’s bass cam that was a really interesting perspective I’ve never seen. Does he have a lot of those? I guess it’s a YouTube search?

That works really well with the delay. What settings do you have on the pog there?

I've seen PIL live a few times in recent years and Scott Firth always has a great tone. Never seen a picture of his pedalboard so don't know what he uses but would be interested to know.
