    Looking for a dcent Effects pedal.

    ODB-3 BOSS Bass Overdrive Effect Pedal

    Is this a good one or is it crap?

    It is selling for arround $30

    I use two, one for added growl and one for outright mayhem...And for $30.00 they're definitely worth it!

    I thought it was crap, but for $30 it would be OK i guess. I wouldn't pay any more for it than that. I thought it lacked punch and warmth and it really isn't overdrive, it is more like cruchy digital distortion. It really eats your bottom end. There are many better overdrive pedals out there (EBS, Fulltone) but they are real pricey (but will last a lifetime).
    I guess it could work for some industrial sounding stuff.
    just my opinion as i sold mine within about 1 month of getting it.
