Off Brand Stingrays?

    Kinda a weird question, nothing urgent it's just out of curiosity. There's tons and tons of companies making their own versions of Jazz and Precision type basses (a lot of them better than fender, see Sadowsky and Spector) but are there any that do the same for Stingrays? If they're out the I'd like to know where they are and who makes them (just for curiosity's sake, not giving up my EBMM Stingray 5 anytime in the near future!).

    glen burton makes one called "music mayhem," saw them recently on ebay.

    and of course... you still have the OLP and S.U.B. basses.

    Ibanez made one back in the late 70's, I believe! but they were taken to court by MM and discontinued.
    Unlike Fender, MusicMan had the hindsight of history to tell them that they needed to trademark more than just their headstock to prevent (most) knock offs.
