    MTD Kingston 5!! :D

I was on my way to swap my Yamaha for Ibanez BTB, when I remembered there was some sort of new products day at another music store. I had some kind of feeling I could find a Kingston 5, even though I had never seen MTD products there.

I got there to find Mr. Jan-Olof Strandberg, one of the most famous bassists in Finland and official EBS endorser, demonstrating Kingstons and EBS pedals, and I was the only bassist in the shop!

So we chatted for an hour or so and finally I walked out with a Kingston. I wanted one with maple fingerboard, they diden't have any available right now tho so mine's currently a black one with rosewood fingerboard, but as soon as Mr. Strandberg(he has his own store at Helsinki) gets Kingstons with maple board he's going to send one to the store to swap it with mine.

But anyways it was a nice deal, I gave 300 bucks and my Yamaha for it, originally they were asking for almost one big dinero! Besides, they gave me extra set of Rotosounds favoured by Mr. Strandberg and he promised to send me one of his CDs with the bass. Truly a nice guy :)

The only dilemma here is, as I get to choose the new one's color, should I get a black one with pearloid pickguard, or perhaps white one with greyish guard. Or perhaps a red one?

I definitely think you should go whiteor maybe red. But the answer lies within you. Search and ye shall find.
