that would have to be some really good paint to stand up to the wear from strings, etc.

while i'm okay with the body of my bass losing paint and such over time, i think the idea of half-faded blocks doesn't appeal to me.

I guess I was just thinking about the F***** Geddy Lee's that have the painted blocks. I guess as long as it was under a topcoat it would be OK. Oh well, just dreaming out loud until the new thread starts....
