It looks like dropped copper to me, but yeah what datsgor said, just type the serial # into the EB site.

Dropped copper is a StingRay Special color. So unless an artist or GC had a ltd. run...

But its either copper or its red. If its metallic red then its candy red (candy cola?)

 

I think the tort guard is throwing everyone off. It just looks like candy red to me.... possibly chili red depending on the lighting.

But Ernie Ball has a great serial # data base. Type it in and it will clear things up for you.

It's 100% not Dropped Copper, having a Classic preamp and that being a Special color.

 

Above pic is from EBMM at 2010 NAMM Show. For the first batch of Classic Basses the finish was designated "Fiesta Red" but latter renamed "Coral Red". Pretty sure this is the finish on your Bass.

 

I believe it's called "Tacky 70's Refrigerator":
