Right. Let's wait and see what happens.
The mock-up BB802 that was briefly hidden on the Quilter site (before they took it down) had both an XLR line in and a 1/4" effects return.
Was it the one posted in this thread on page 50, post No. 990?
I've only seem the front pic.
It does have an XLR line-in on the back.
Man,, I bet this kind of sucks for the folks at Quilter.
Or if they are watching this thread, they got exactly what they wanted (free pre-launch market feedback that they can adjust their product with prior to launch).
That thought has occurred to me several times. Maybe the BB802 doesn't even exist.
A bit of free market research?
Much feedback last year. Mainly.. Pre/Post, Ground lift, maybe line/mic level switch for a 'real' XLR out. No detents. Maybe it doesnt have detents.
Though they have a manual online for a model that doesn’t exist!
I haven't seen any manual...can you post a link?
Pretty sure it was up for a while, then taken down. Just like the actual web page.
Maybe @Luke the Fluke was able to download it?
the static web link to the file is still live, but the page linking to it that you could find by changing the number in the URL isn't (or at least in the same place)
I'm a graphic designer and work in a marketing team... in my experience putting a product live before launch and some idiot online finding it by changing the URL possibly got someone in the bad books. It hardly seems fair to post the manual before the guys at Quilter want it to does it? (especially to such a crazy bunch of bass nerds as us lot)
It’s still up on their manuals page:
I wouldn't say "everyone".
Interesting. Seems to skimp on info for the Sig Out though in the specs it mentions that the Master affects headphone out but no mention of the Master on the Line Out position.
...and the trouble shooting refers to the 800 controls. Still a work in progress it seems. Surprised the link still works.
The SIG OUT jack can be switched from balanced LINE OUT (preMaster) or mono HEADPHONE (post Master)
Slight diversion from the new Quilter gear. New at pedalboards etc. Recent inspiration from Rad Eng. Randy and Tom BigRedSix close local Pals I decided to dabble. Not a whole lot going on here but I'm having some fun. Only actual effects are the to EHX devices the Micro Pod and just received today the nano Baseballs envelope limiter, and 1Spot C6 mounted on the bottom. I was going for some sorta funky synth application. Probably won't use it much in my Band but I have a few ideas. This setup is for some tight places we play and since I won't be clicking on/off too much should be pretty cool. All the goodies a real stable sitting on top. On the gigs most likely I will put on the floor in front of the cab/cabs unless space is an issue.
