With all the interest in Revsound cabs these days, seems like a good time to get this numberless club started. Anyone who is an owner or a fan, post away. Links to previous threads would be very helpful. Discussions, pics, potential buyers, and looky-loos. Even Revsound guitar cabs! All are welcome! Please include info on your bass, amp, effects, band, venue, etc. Remember, pics or it didn't happen. David Luke, builder @dawind99 1-603-651-9800 Bass Cabinets | RevSound
Revsound cabinets? Have you heard of Revsound cabinets? New Cab Day - RevSound RS28. What a little beast!
I have a pair of RS115's with the "X" drivers that weigh about 25 lbs each. I had them built with pole mounts on top so I can also use them as subwoofers. For use as just bass cabs I think the RS112 (or RS212) with "S" driver would be more of a vintage "2x15" vibe.
RS12 and RS15. Love 'em. I also get to use the RS88T at a bandmates studio. It's truly the king of bass cabs. View attachment 2865368 View attachment 2865372
That vertical, one-cab 4x10 is looking pretty good: RS410VT | RevSound along with the 4x8: RS48VT | RevSound
RS212Ts here. This is the 4 ohm cab that defines my sound in my trio. Sitting under a Shuttle 6.2. Love this thing. {} Seen/heard here -
I'm looking at the reasonably priced, single speaker(no tweet) cabs: RS115 | RevSound RS112T Bass Cabinet | RevSound RS110 Bass Cabinet | RevSound
I know it's not single speaker but take a close look at the 28. I was all set to buy a 110 (no tweeter) but decided to go with the 28 instead and couldn't be happier with it. Costs a bit more but handles a ton of power, is super-light, and sounds great. FWIW my other cab is a 210 no tweet. Love it also.
{} OK, I'm all in! Here's my RevSound rig - RV28 with a Demeter 400D. Next to it is its big brother - 210 no tweet. Both great cabs!
I'm in - picked up a RS112T just under a year ago: {} Combined weight of Quilter BB800 and RevSound RS112T is ~30 lbs. With a backpack style gig bag, I can literally transport everything I need for a gig in one trip without significant effort. And as far as buying experience goes - call David at the number listed. The only way you would get more personal service would be if he drove to your house with your new cab and hooked everything up for you. If you're looking for a high-end cab, I doubt you will get more bang (or thump) for the buck than RevSound. HIGHLY recommended (and I'm saving up for another so I'll have a matched pair!)
