Very nice. That looks like a keeper, even by your high standards. :D

Man, you DO have the great taste in basses, and apparently, a very understanding spouse.

    Enjoy!

Thanks man... the spouse has her vices too (shoes, pocketbooks, etc.) which makes it just a little easier.

In my brief dealings with the man I can't say enough good things about Jim Rubio.

I've been trying to stay away from his shop all week since he recieved some of those UV's, but I'm now feeling a strong urge to pay atlanta bass gallery a visit tomorrow :help:

    Another Sadowsky thread!

Wow that sure is nice though Congrats!!! :bassist:

I have black on black RV4 with VTC that looks very similar to yours.

Not that it matters so much but have you thought about a Bell cover for the Neck PUP?

No bell covers for me. They get in my way. I tried a Marcus Miller with a bell cover and didn't like it.

Hey Rob, I guess you're what they say as "one string short of a 5-string" eh? ;)

Very nice! I really like those UV70's, but I also don't care for the pickup cover. It looks much better without it, and I tend to play right above the neck pickup.

I wonder if we'll ever see an NYC version, or at least an NYC with the 70's Jazz pickup spacing?

Actually, I decided to sell the BN5 AFTER I bought this. I'm all over the place with this GAS stuff. I've got some other targets in mind with the proceeds from the BN5 including some household stuff. The BN5 is incredible, but I usually play my BN6 when thinking F Bass.

BTW - my neck should be back from Mr. Dolan soon! :bassist:

Roger has made a couple NYC's w/70's spacing.

    Really? Very interesting.

How about you, Nino? Have you experimented much with the "60's" versus "70's" spacing? It seems to change the vibe of an instrument just enough to notably tweak people's individual preferences towards one or the other. Despite what I think I would prefer "on paper", I notice that I tend to gravitate towards J-basses with the 70's spacing.
