I really need to find one of these to demo:

    Epiphone Allen Woody sig bass

My arthritis is still a problem some days, and I've been casually looking at another 30" scale bass to join my DeArmond Starfire for the flareups. I've looked at a few Epi EB-Os, but haven't been blown away.

This one slipped completely beneath my radar! I never even noticed the earlier threads.

Bad timing, too - I'm flat broke. How many basses is enough?

what exactly is GAS an acronym for? Guitar Acquisition syndrome or something?

I too want to play a Woody sig. in the worst way, but i can't find one anywhere. Do ypu know of any in the chi-town area?

I can hear the strains of Woody on Gov't Mule's "Trane" coming through that bass as we speak:D
