It is kind of a cute situation. Frank couldn't sell it through Bass alone back in October (think it was longer ago than even that) so the price is raised $200 and relisted. So... how exactly would you do cash on this bass... send small bills through the mail? Wire them money? Fax? The other Warrior on Bassgear can't help (listed at ~$900, NAMM show bass). This is a bad market to be stuck with a "special" bass like that
Is someone actually collecting Warriors? I remember the matched set of (I think) 10 guitars and basses being sold by (I think) Ed Roman... had to buy the entire set.
They had a gallery opening here in Atlanta last week. They had pieces in there that were priced from 30 to 60k. Don't they realize that people might wanna do something weird like, oh I don't know.....PLAY 'EM?!
Here's an update: FOR SALE: To Whomever mocked the Warrior Ad Posted: : 11/19/2001 Category: Basses Condition: Brand New Age: Months Asking Price: $0 I wasn't trying to offend anyone by what I said in the add..... I didn't use profanity or anything like that I was just trying to represent the bass in a way that it should be represented. I used words like"TIREKICKERS and "LOWBALLERS"because that actually does describe CERTAIN people And it IS a SERIOUS BASS...make no question about it! I do not think I was being snobby, and if you think I was being snobby I'm sorry for that I did change my add,so I would appericate it if you take down your ad,and I will take down this ad You can email me if you like Sincerely Frank D. well, you can slap any sized price tag on any instrument. i'll sell ya my kramer duke for $100,000. they don't even make those anymore.
well, if your going to buy high end gear, get something with some resale value. i just sold my fodera through bassgear for a lot more than that warrior. luckily i bought it used so i didnt lose anything on the deal.

Just have to chuckle a little...Frank tried to low-ball me on a Bone fretless bass that I was selling very cheaply. He wasn't a tire kicker in that he really was interested in the bass, but...suffice it to say I sold it to someone else.
