I picked up GWAR's newest release today, Violence Has Arrived. It's quite a departure from the band's usual product, but it's already starting to grow on me (like a fungus). I haven't decided yet on whether I like their new look or not -- I think I almost prefer the "cartoony" look of yesterday's GWAR. I do like the new logo though! If you can, I suggest you check out the tunes "Bloody Mary" and "Immortal Corruptor." Oh yeah, I believe the Violence Tour starts after the first of the year. Go see 'em when they kill a town near you -- tell 'em Hategear sent ya!
I know, I couldn't believe that Media Play still had copies of Hell-O and Scumdogs of the Universe, but were sold out of Violence! Which ones are you looking for? I know GWAR sells them on their site at www.gwar.net. Some of them are out of print, but if anyone can still get a hold of them, the band that made 'em should be able to! The only one you might run into trouble with is This Toilet Earth. Finding a copy of that CD, with the song "B.D.F." on it could be hard (I have one copy with it and one without it). If you get the copy without it, the artwork has been censored as well.
