    Hey i have a 2x10 avatar in 4 ohms and the power amp im looking at is the QSC RMX1450. the specs on that are: Stereo: 280W @ 8 ohms, 450W @ 4 ohms, and 700W @ 2 ohms. Bridge mono: 900W @ 8 ohms, 1,400W @ 4 ohms.

my avatar is 600 watts at 4 ohms....will it explode if i run it bridged at 1400? couldnt i keep the gain down really really low and not push it. or can i run it in stereo, with only one output though and send 450 watts to it. can i do that or do i need something on the other side of the power amp to balance it out?

    thanks a lot guys.

It'll be fine, just keep the gain on the amp down. Your ears will tell you when you're taking it too far.

I pump 1500 watts into one of my Aguilar 4x10's, rated at 700 watts, push it pretty hard, and its fine.
