    ok... first off I'm sorry about asking this question. I just have to figure this crap out
    ok so say you have. 2 cabs that run at 400 watts at 8 ohms
    so right there is 16 ohms right?
    well then what if you run a head through them that is 400 watts at 4 ohms. What is the watts I could push out of that.
    and do I run a hazord of frying/blowing the cabs if I turn it up to mid/large crowd shows. like 500-600 people?

    read this thread - it should answer your questions

    however, those two cabs will end up as a 4 ohm load used together. The amp in question will put out 400 watts into the cabs, 200 watts per cab. This will be one half of what the cabs can take, but that's not an issue.
