    IMHO, I'd try for the L-2000. Seems like a very good starting price.

    That Thinline is totally not my cup o' tea and I've owned a couple of J's already. I appreciate what a Jazz can do but personally, I'm looking in other directions!! I notice that lately I'm gravitating toward necks that are a bit wider through the first few frets than a Jazz.

    YMMV of course!

    I've had a couple G&Ls and have moved on (can't stop farting around with all the switches :D) but IMHO the US-made L-2000 is the most "real" out of the four.
