ok, HOW do I replace tube in XS400 Yorkie head?

    you guys gave good advice on a tube upgrade for the Yorkville XS400 Bassmaster head.... now I have the 'lid' off I'm wondering what is the RIGHT way to R&R that stock tube? it ain't obvious to me.....

    pls PLS help

    It's really quite simple.

    Remove the screws that hold the top cover plate on the amp. There should be approx 8 - 10 of them.

    With the front of the amp facing you, lift off the top cover plate. Looking down inside the amp the tube is located in the front left corner, right behind the faceplate.

    There is a harness to secure the tube from moving. Remove it from the tube. Now take a good hold of the tube and gently pull it out of the socket.

    Do the exact reverse to install the new tube.

    Should take you no longer than 5 minutes maximum.
