Ok...,I need a passive crossover that can handle some power

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by myke.nytemare, Aug 8, 2007.

  1. Ok...after seeing that I would have to get another power amp (which I am not willing to do at the moment) to use my Firebass to power the (2) 10" and (1) 18" in my Peavey 1820 cab, I know that I must replace the burnt out low power handling crossover that was in my cab.

Are there any passive crossovers out there that can take high wattage and that I could wire into my cab to send lower frequencies to the 18" (which is gettting around 350W at 4 ohms) and higher frequencies to the 10s (which are getting 350 into 4 ohms)

    Please help me!

Ask Peavey. You have to know the crossover frequencies in any event. Eminence makes a line of crossovers but they are 8ohm.
