Do you know their names? If they DO jump you, take the beating as best as you can, then report them to the police. A couple bruises are worth them getting ass-raped for a while by a horny 300-pound dude named "Muffin".

Dude, I'm pretty sure you are the one who needs to chill. Brendan was just suggesting that we are but bassists, we can give you petty advice. You need to talk to some athority figure or something.

Look, I'm just saying, if you're worried about your saftey, why not contact the local authorities, your parents, your church, your friends, neighbors, dogs, cats, bizzare mystic ninja monks from Tibet, or people that know you.

You registered a little over a month ago, and you're asking a community of other musicians, some of the flakiest, strangest people for advice on getting jumped? Out the them millions of websites out there, why Talkbass? Why not a self defense message board?

It seems like it might be a tad more productive than asking us, of whom only a fraction know anything about this type of situation, meanwhile, there are other boards, websites, and people in real life who could help you much more than we can.

If you know three of these guys, call the police, tell them you're worried that four guys, three of whom you know, have been known to physically threaten you. It'd be much more effective than asking Talkbass how to deal with it.
