  1. yesterday i posted a U2 help thread, however i asked about the wrong song (doh!) the chord progression i need help with is "where the streets have no name" sorry about that.

    That does explain some things. As I stated yesterday I have the album on vinyl if its on rattle and hum I will have a listen. NB of the song Adam Clayton remarked and I quote " instead of seeing it as a very clever mathmatical equation I saw it as another way of f***ing up the rhythm section"

    It's all so clear now!

    In that case, yes, you play it all on the A-string, and use a pick, alternating upstrokes and downstrokes.
