I'm in the market for a new tuner cuz I always seem to knock my bass out of tune and in live situations it hards to tune...one time I had to try to tune with a trumpet in a live situation...but anyways I was thinking the Boss Tu-2 would be great, but are there pedal style tuners out there any better? Probably stick on my Christmas list so I got pretty big funds...I suppose it can't go much more then a $100....

They're fantastic tuners - I've had mine for a couple of years and it's worked wonderfully without a hitch. They seem to work better than the Fender pedal tuners, from what I've seen.

The best rack tuner is the Korg DTR-1.

The best pedal style tuner is the Boss TU-2.

The best standard style portable tuner is the Boss TU-12/TU-12H.
  7. My Boss TU12h works great.

I agree with that, and thought I'd throw in that the Boss TU-8 tuner works well too.

I think it's safe to say Boss or Korg make nice tuners.

Korg DTR-1 or 2. I'll be getting a DTR-1 in the near future because its a good tuner.
