old f#cker....

    i just found out my amp was built in 1979. what an old f#cker ! but still sounds good :) too bad the housing is worn off :(

    Hey, don't feel bad - I have an old Kustom 200 amp that was built around '69 or '70 - and it still works great.

    my ampeg B-18 was built in 1966 .
    sounds fabulous.

  5. yeah.. mine sounds great too.. but the housing is all messed up.. i'm thinking about rebuilding the housing..

    :) Well, I don't use it much for bass anymore, but it does get used for other things (keyboard amp, monitor amp, practice amp, etc.) and, since it was my first *real* bass amp, it has nostalgic value - so... I think I'll keep it!

    Man my ampeg portoflex was built in 66! And you cant find a better sounding amp!
