Ive heard that on old modulus basses, they were stocked with lane poor pickups. Instead of the LP in the corner though, it was the modulus symbol. is this true?

Mine has an aftermarket set of LPs in it, along with Lane's 2x1 buffer preamp and (buffered) passive tone controls for each pickup. Sounds great!

Absolutely correct. I bought an LP to put in my Flea 4. It came out of a Flea 5 and it does have the Modulus logo. Mine had SD Basslines and good as they are, the bass is a whole new monster with the Lane Poor in it.
