Old Music Man cab :) :)

    Ok so this cat I know has this old music man cab... it is in excellent shape and what not.. Well this kid is terrible at bass and really knows nothing about taking care of anything.. and he has been running a guitar head through this thing... well tonight I put my eden nemesis 210 combo amp on top of it and plugged everything up... I turned up the volume a bit and totally hit the floor when I hit the first note... I love the punch of my 10' speakers..... and I never thought I would want a 15' under my belt.. but i must say.. this setup is so excellent.. huge low end from the 15 and nice mids and punchy highs from the 10's... I doubt i can buy it from him... but since he doesn't play much, I am just going to use it when I do my gigs... but yeah these old musicman cabs kick it with a tasty tasty groove.. sorry just thought i would share my new found glory :)

    Kelly from goldfinger used music man cabs in concert. they shook my clothes

    I'm playing through one of those old Music Man 115's tonight. I'm pretty sure it's pre-Ernie Ball; it has the old MM logo. It has the "scooped" port on the bottom -- super fat. I've been playing through it for about 4 Wednesdays now and I love it.

    Like you, I tried to buy it off the owner. It belonged to his friend who died tragically so it had too much sentimental value for him to part with it.

    I'm certainly gonna keep my eyes peeled for one, though.
