I've been on the search for a portable, lightweight, but hits the lows, old school bass cab(s) to compliment my vintage SVT. Weight is an issue, as I don't want to lug around the SVT plus a 100lb cab too. I'm currently using 2 avatar 210's, but it is lacking in the low end department. I play through a p. I've been thinking about:

    Ashdown MAG 115, 40'ish lbs, 150 watts
Ashdown MAG 210T 40 ish lbs, 200 watts

Do you think that would be a good setup? For those of you who use SVT's, what cabs do you guys use? I'd love to use the 410hlf, but at 110lbs, thats way too much for me!
  2. I can't imagine using anything but a sealed 810 with my vintage svt's. I guess anything else (410, 210, 115) would be ok as long as it adds up to 4 or 2 ohms.
