I really want to play one of these.
As do I !!
Me too. They sound great. The necks looks sooo wide though. Might be too much for me.
I hear it is not as wide as it looks.
I sure like the sounds and looks of that.
I have a Moollon JV that has a wide neck, and I love it. The Olinto would compliment the Moollon nicely.
I’ve heard that Olinto makes their PBass bodies thinner . I think this makes them very resonant. My Squier CV 60’s PBass has a thinner body than normal fender PBass. Mine is also very resonant . If I could find a 5 string PBass that sounds and plays and feels as good as my Squier I’d buy it. I just don’t play PBass enough to justifying spending Olinto $ on one. But I still want to try one .
I’ve watched this one several times over this past year. Looks as good as it sounds .
You need that bass, Cheese.
My thoughts exactly
I need a promotion.
I always watch vids about P’s, but I have to admit, I am not a P fan. I am slowly being drawn in with vids like this. A fellow TB’r where I am has quit a collection of P’ of various brands and configurations. After playing most with flats, the one that spoke to me the most had Cobalt Flats on it. I’m slowly being drawn in. GAS IS COMING!
Best of instrument I’ve ever owned. Getting ready to go to a blues gig with this bass. Add in a foam mute. People request that I play this over my Sadowsky. Like it’s 4-string granpappy proved, a passive P just gets the job done.
P-basses are a nice option even if they aren’t your main thing.
Yeah those things are speaking to me.
Thats what she said?
That headstock looks almost as big the body… would love to try one.
5.25” at the nut
