Yes, it would. But if you are sponsored or paid you have to tell it and pay a fee. Ok
This is my understanding of the rules.

He has provided me with 2 basses a 4 string and a 5 string to use to solicit orders in North America for English speaking markets. They are not my property but I do get to play them, evaluate them and offer some insight into what types of custom options he should consider offering. We met up in US as his daughter is marrying a man from Conecticut and it was more convenient for him. They did surprise me with a second pair of basses that I have to go back for in a couple of weeks. The feel of the neck and hardware are the same as the samples but these are a new body shape that I had never seen until this past weekend. I can provide pics and regarding disclosure....I am currently doing this as a labour of love but if there is enough interest in Olivo basses in english speaking markets then I would receive a commision per bass in the future. Should I post some pics?

    Hi everybody,
Magickalpig is the most lucky man in the world. Improving basses created by the master... Have an Olivo (the same as your maple one on the left). The serial number is C-8. Could you give me an idea of the crafting year and value (Don't want to sell this marvel, just want an idea). Never had a bass of that quality. You don't even have to know how to play, this bass is playin for you.
Thanks in advance and have a good day ;)

If the OP is an endorser, it should be disclosed on his profile and also disclosed when posting about the instruments. No fee is required unless his posting habits show that he is clearly motivated only by promotion for gain.

Hello, Im not an endorser, although I am a big fan of his work. We have been friends since 1980 and Olivo has asked me to help reintroduce his instruments to the English speaking North American market.......to that end, I have made an agreement to distribute his instruments in North America. Full disclosure, this may be a great business opportunity or crickets....I have no idea...I can confirm that Olivo has been making basses again and I have listed 4 that are currently available for purchase. I know that there are 10 more being completed at the moment...the new pics are sweet! I have adjusted my profile, please confirm if I have any other changes to make to follow the rules.

Funny that you mention the necks being long....back in 1980 my 18 year old mind knew that I wanted a longer neck and I tried to explain it to Olivo but something got lost in the translation...my custom fretless was 34 inch scale....years later when I first played a 35 I knew the difference...we have discussed doing a 35 inch scale this past fall so you might see a long neck one day but in this case its an optical illusion....here is a picture of Olivo with the 5er that I have here in Ontario..can you believe this man is 80 years old? Im 57 and I look twice his age..., IMG-20181123-WA0007.jpg

I just acquired my first Olivo today. It's a 1981 Fretted Four String.

I haven't played it yet, electronically, actually. Just felt the action. Played it for twenty minutes without plugging it in.

It is a wonderful instrument -- neck through, great sustain, nice action, nice tone (acoustic only, haven't tried out the electronics yet). I think it may just be a keeper!

  17. They are that long and beautiful.

  18. I have an old one that I upgraded to Alembic pickups. It’s just a fantastic bass that I’ll keep forever. 86361BE3-7DA9-4123-A792-DF4679591D43.jpeg
