Olp pickup question (2jazzes in a mm cover)

Would it me viable to replace either one or both of the single coils. Would it be useful. If so would it also work forva single coil p pickup and a seymour duncan quarter pounder. Would either combination sound good and destroy hum or should i just get a replacement pu
