I don't know i think its kinda neat, sure beats the 14 string youtube bass if nothing else. On the other hand i don't really think that the bass section of the instrument is going to be all that playable cause you gotta get past 12 g****r strings first. Would make a excellent piece of wall art
Only has three more strings then this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...et&_trksid=p284.m184&_trkparms=its=S%2BI%2BSS
Any more strings, and they will be harps...with a neck.
I like this one better!!
I'll see your four, and raise you one!
That bass/guitar just looks horrendous!
I would love to see the bands face when you pull that out for an audition!
I can imagine Rick Nielsen will be canceling some shows to spend time on eBay trying to add to HIS collection.
I'd like to see their faces when you say... "anyone got a tuner" this'll be a few minutes ;-)
14 frets on the bass seems a little on the low side, I guess the two extra strings will help a little, but still. I wouldn't ever buy it to play, but as mentioned before, it would be kind of cool on a wall.
It'll be interesting to see how much it goes for.
Would make a great cheese slicer.
Or egg slicer for salads.
Aaahhh ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!111!!!!!!11!!!!! OMGROFLMFAOBBQ!!!!
Is it just me or do the strings not look the right widths to tune properly?
This one from the same seller actually looks semi-decent:
Notice that I accented the word looks God only knows how it plays or sounds.
That giant white control plate has to go, though it looks like old lady underwear. And what's with those big, dumb oversized bass pickups?
I ain't dissing the concept of multi string basses etc. I just can't grasp how you
fine folks that play necks as wide as the hood of a 59 Caddy Eldorado can navigate
the fretboards on these unique beasts.
They're in league with the Chiropractor's Association!!!
Marston from Behold The Arctopus plays something very similar.
What a waste of a tree. A whole tree...
