...strung with old (6 yrs) Thomastik Jazz flats.
I get many questions about that bass quite regularly. You guys might already know it: It’s my (all stock) Squier Classic Vibe 60s Precision Bass. I attached a mute by Ellio Martina Guitars in front of the bridge (www.bassmute.com), you can hear it on example #2 and #3.
Please, use headphones or HQ speakers!
Thanks a lot for watching, stay safe & enjoy yourselves! :)

Something sounds different ...... maybe it’s the amount of muting . I’m used to that bass having more life to the notes even when you’ve used the mute before . Great playing and still one of my favorite basses to own and play.

Nice! Are you running direct into your recording interface here, or are the EBS MicroBass and MultiComp being used?

Hi there! Glad you like it! The MicroBass II and the MultiComp are my „always on“ pedals! ;-)

Sure, the mute changes the sound of the bass dramatically. But I just love how the thumpy sound sticks to the bassdrum! ;-)
It’s just another very usable tone that you can create with a P-Bass, strung with flats.
Thanks for the kind words! :)
    All the best!

Nice Mik, the note choice, timing, and intonation adjustments are spot on!

Fantastic playing. I really don't need another bass but when I do Squier is on the short list

    Thank you, bro! ;-)
And you definitely can’t go wrong with a CV Squier! :)
