i'm looking into some alternatives for alembic type electronics that employ low pass filters in their preamps. does anyone do this other than alembic? and doesn't cost an arm and a leg? hooyah

We were just talking about the EZQ in another thread, and I have an old one laying around that's going to davidwilson. It does the Alembic/Wal thing, sort of.

If you're not necessarily dead-set on having them onboard, you might think about picking up an Alembic SF-2 rackmount unit, which is essentially Alembic Series electronics in a rackmount box (as I understand it).
