Wow, that's a piece of art. I wouldn't dare to play it.I would just hang it on a wall.
  3. there's two or three models of similar nature to this ritter. I agree this is my favorite. Graining of fretboard looks like it was the one on sale in PA once and maybe a TBer picked it up... can't remember.

I wouldn't dare hang it on the wall, i'd playit every where i could because it looks so good.
  4. This one is also my favorite.

A TB'er purchased the 6 string version that is very similar I believe.

I'd do the exact opposite. Somebody get me a workingman's fender :smug:

Very nice, but I've seen and played nicer. Of course, IMHO as well. :D

The Ritters are SO nice. And as expensive as they are nice.
But you buy a boutique bass because you want a unique or unusual bass, right, so you have to pay for that privilege.
I love the Okons......hot hot hot.

Beautiful. That figured ebony is incredible. Reminds me of Goncalo-Alves, but with a more prominent grain and darker color.

I do like that ebony top...not exactly what I'd get, but nice. I forget who owns it, but I think I talked to the original owner a while back.

Some guy in Canada owns it, He was trying to sell it on bassgear awhile back too. I think he wanted like 5k+ for it though. Great looking bass

My favorite Ritter looks a lot like that, but has an oil finish which brings out the details in the ebony much better, is a 4 string, and has a Ritter tremolo.

Neat looking bass. I had a Guild back in the early 80's that had the walnut stain in the middle and an ash looking surround like that.
