What a surprise to listen to or play bass to a fantastic song and realize that there is only one chord.

Please list any pop, rock, rock n roll, rock a billy, blues, R&B, etc...... songs made up of only one chord.

I'll start off with 3 songs that I know of.

    Magic Bus The Who
    Run Through the Jungle CCR
Who Do You Love? Bo Diddley

Even though there are other notes played, these songs are based on 1 chord.

Everyday People - Sly & The Family Stone (1 bass note for the whole song)

Bad To The Bone - George Thorogood & The Destroyers
  6. Chain of Fools- Aretha Franklin

Sorry but magic bus is 3 chords with only one bass note and in Who Do You Love the chords are E and A. You can hear them during the bridge and also after each "who do you love"

Tower of Power have a tune called What is Hip that is entirely based on the chord of E minor. It featured in Francis Rocco Prestia's "Finger Funk" video. Cool tune.
