I've been playing bass for a good while now and have been using mostly books and some video stuff as well. But more recently I've been toying around with some online lessons. What is people's opinion of them? Has anyone had any good/bad experience with online stuff?
i like em a lot. a site i found particularly useful is gazzbass.com not sure on the url tbh but search on google for gazz bass if its not and you'll probably find it. lots of mark king type exercises.
Nothing really beats getting one on one lessons in person. If you start out with just the internet/books you could always be doing something really bad technique wise that could be hurting you or your bass playing. It's also just generally easier to have someone there that can explain things in different ways, answer your questions, etc.
i completely agree with that as i had a techer for a year. (for free from school) but if u cant find or afford a teacher internet lessons are the next best thing i'd say
