Listening to guitar amp trade offers

For more info check out wilcoxguitars.com

    Asking $720 w/ $25 shipping

Looking to sell this to make room for new stuff , would entertain trade offers for a guitar tube amp.

If you're not familiar with Lightwave check them @ wilcoxguitars.com they use unique optical pickups (each string has it's own pickup) and according to their site: "The LightWave Pickup’s transparent response delivers harmonically rich, deep, and powerful sound, spanning a wide range of tones from pure, natural string sound (our trademark Voice of the String™), to super-aggressive and cutting edge with the use of EQ or signal processing".

2003 (see pics) Looks like 2/23/03

Plays amazingly! I got this used around 2009 for that Jack Bruce Lund and have barely played it, seriously maybe 5 hours, fretless just doesn't fit my style. Body, neck and head stock are all perfect condition. It's strung with black nylon wrapped XL strings to minimize fret wear. Has original gig bag and lightwave power supply.

    Still available..
  9. Where in Washington are you? I’m near Everett, and would be interested in checking it out.

Does it have side dot markings?

Not far from you, Granite Falls. Yes Side dots are there which makes it much easier to play for me.
  11. That is rather close, as I live a bit North of Everett.

I remember hearing that you need to charge the battery for the optical pickups rather frequently. Would you happen to know how often that would be? I see that you’ve only played it sparingly.

I can't tell you exactly, Willcox claims 16 hours with just a 1 hour charge. I know I've played it for 2 hours in a sitting. I know the last thing at a gig you want is an extra wire but the power supply has 6' leads both to the outlet and to the bass, plenty long enough for extended practices.

Video added, forgive my fumbling around I've not played for quite a long time, heck even mess up the main lick to Ramble on at the end.
