1st in! What’s your point?
Oh- the p bass ashtray on jazz
Does look a bit odd, now That you mention.
I've seen stranger things.
In fact I don't really find that there strange in any way whatsoever.
The pic is a little grainy, so I’m not sure, but I don’t see any screw heads (especially on the left), so I think it’s just sitting there, and not screwed on.
Well then...implied madman
Don't, don' t, don' t.....
Ashtrays belong on amps , not on basses.
But when you like it, do it!
Could be worse, it could be much bigger with a giant F stamped in it.
Exactly. It's not screwed on. Maybe because it's simply hiding something far, far worse…a black Babicz bridge!
If you love it set it free.
Because how I set my intonation is a trade secret....
Kill the bridge cover and get a jazz pup cover....it looks way better!
It's too close to the bridge p'up for me - I did a google search to see if anyone else has done this (and posted a pic) couldn't find one.
Almost, hipshot A!
just a mock up for now..
I have a buddy that put a jazz cover on his p bass - wierd!
What I'm trying to do is use this nonvintage Fender Am Dlx bridge and hide it - hipshot was overkill
Try a Gibson cover.
