Open letter to TIOABA Re: "recruitment"

As you may have noticed, your thread seeking "recruits" for your board has been deleted. I feel I should tell you why, since you might choose to become a member here someday.

First of all, spamming your forum at another forum is a pretty crummy thing to do to begin with but I would have allowed it had you asked, but even worse, your post contained language clearly forbidden by our Forum Rules.

How would you feel if some guy you never saw before came into your house, put his feet up on your table and started spitting on the floor?

One more thing: if you're an offshoot from Guitar.com, why don't you start fishing for people there? Why did you break off anyway?

Finally, you might not have noticed, but we're bassists, so your board would have limited appeal to our members anyway. Hope you live up to your word and don't become F******.
