Opinion of this G&L L2000

  2. Well the old ones like that do sound a bit stronger in the low mids than the newer ones. The mahogany body may add to that as well.

    That one looks really clean, and while the price is a tad high, the market for that model will likely catch up to, or even surpass that soon. Looks clean enough to pay a premium for.

    Are the electronics the same as the current models?
  4. No, the preamp is different, along with the coil tapping options. That makes the difference.

    I'd ask the dealer if everything is original, and if the truss rod works as it should. And maybe the weight, if that matters to ya.
