Opinion on Fender project 69' baby Q; gun and nitro?

Hello,

I have an unfinished fender honey blonde that wants some of that nice white pearl and a nitro finish. Anyways im planning on refinishing the 69 jazz bass neck I have. I think a custom nitro neck finish might do the job.

I was just going to start practicing on wood. You know not until I know the gun. Lol

Could I get started for 150$?

Please consider by paint gun Im looking for a powerful reliable gun.

Ill try reading how some of the realy great guys are applying the nitro. But can I get that stuff cheap somwhere?
