I built my Warmoth Koa Jazz bass to sell & personally, I don't think it's going to sell for what I'm asking & I wonnt' sell it for less. Well anyway, this is the bass:

Personally, what bothers me most is the finish on the body. It's OK. It's not prefessionally done. I was thinking of selling the body & getting this:

    What do you think?

Heh. If you did, that body is absolutely amazing. I'd pick it up from you if I had money :(

Hell, I saw you were selling that and the first thing that ran through my head was "damn, no P neck."

    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
The koa is nice as is, IMHO. I think some people may not like the price you have it at because they don't know what an installed Sadowsky pre-amp costs. As you've said in previous posts, the koa would make a nice backup to the Sadowsky bass you choose to take out live. If I was in the spendin' mood, I'd maybe have the koa body refinished at Wilkins.

Where I'm coming from personally, the Fender style neck might not be the best choice with the Eagle body, but if you plan to keep it and it rings your bells, let 'er rip.

I've always totally loved that body. A few months back I was real close to buying it.

    I say go for it.
  10. Compared to your J basses and Sadowsky Modern 5 the Eagle is sooooooo '70s looking. OK looking but it doesn't move me the way it used to in the '70s and '80s. And I'm a huge fan of Neil Geraldo who played Strats and Eagles.

IMHO, if the only thing you don't like about the J bass is the quality of the finish, then get it refinished by Pat Wilkins. That J bass is gorgeous!

Go with the eagle and have it specially painted with an american flag on it. You'll be SO patriotic and that's always good!:p

But seriously, that eagle body looks awesome, maybe you could just keep the jazz AND get the eagle!
