I am a middle of the road Behringer guy. I hate some of their stuff, other types of gear I think are a good value.

I recently borrowed apair of JBL EON G2 powered PA speakers and I was completely blown away. At 700.00 per speaker no way I can raise that kind of dough.

Beheringers version is alomst identical in the specs. Without getting everyone all hot, can I hear from any who have actually tried these units? The unit I'm referring to are the 15" ones. 450w power rating.

    I use the 300 W version.
Decent for the price but don't even expect approaching JBL's tone and power.
I experienced reliability issues and they tend to get blurry at high volume.
Mackie is selling out its SRM450 model, you may get happy with these.

Thanks, that's just the kind of input I need. Do you mean that Mackie is planning on discontinuing the SRM 450?

My problem would be that they are the same money as the JBL's

Exactly what type of application are you using them for?
