I'm looking for a new amp to replace my aging Trace Elliot GP7SM 130. I play in a Motown/70's funk band and am looking at the GK400 /115 combo, and the Fender 250/15. I'm also interested in other ideas. Thanks,

Personally I would find anything larger than a 12" combo awkward. Not only do you carry a a speaker cabinet but an amplifier when moving them you have no room to expand. Not all combos have the ability to add extension cabs and you cant upgrade any part. Seperates allow much more flexability gradual upgrade and so on. But if you really want a combo how bout an SWR red head? Would probably be a great little funk amp.
