How does it compare to Brazilian and Indian Rosewood? Thanks!

Malagasy Rosewood is a subset of Madagascar Rosewood. If your eye is good enough and experienced enough you may be able to tell it from the other rosewoods of Madagascar.

Otherwise, look for Madagascar Rosewood and accept any sub species.

Madagascar Rosewood is very similar to Brazilian Rosewood or Cocobolo.
