  1. Bass Guitar

I wouldn't choose red, but I don't think I want to pass this deal up. I just want to confirm with the members here before I commit to buying. Should I buy it? It even mentions "or best offer." Thanks.

  2. Compare the price to Musicians Friend, then adjust the price accordingly. They pretty much stock those by the 100's.

If you're gonna use the bass, 200 bucks is a fair price. Just keep in mind that's how much you gonna get if you decide to sell it. I wouldn't buy it just because the price is good...

  4. I am looking for another bass to buy, but I would rather have EMG's and a different color. Thanks.

Nice choice bro, I've been looking at that one too. I don't really like EMGs tho, I say go for it.

  6. Thanks man. I think I'll go give it a test run at a local guitar store tomorrow morning.

If you can actually live with this thing, get his number and call him back in a couple of weeks. He'll still have it and you should be able to get it for under $200, easy. I would not personally pay anywhere near that for this item.

Out here, you absolutely cannot GIVE ESP stuff away. Totally marginal brand for resale. :rollno:

If by some miracle he offloads it in the meantime, no big deal.

  8. Good thinking. Thanks for the advice.

ESP LTDs are a good value on the used market. I owned one for 3 years and really enjoyed it. Mine had full-on EMG's and an EMG pre. It sounded pretty massive.
I sold it only because I needed an amp upgrade- I definitely plan on getting another one down the road. I parted ways with it because my band plays mainly classic rock covers and my passive basses cover that territory better IMHO.

That being said, I do agree that you can probably get it for a lower price if you wait a bit.
