    I would say the Stingray is worth more. They hold there resale. The Fender is cobbled(sp?) up.

    The 'Ray will bring in about $800 used.

    If you put the original neck back on, the Fender Relic would probably bring in about $1500. With the Warmoth, I dunno.
     
  4. I would say the Stingray definitely. I'd also say that in general, fretless basses don't hold their resale value as well as fretted instruments simply because there aren't as many fretless players.

    I could be wrong, but that's how I see it.

    The real question is, would you trade the 64 Relic with warmoth neck for the SR5 straight up. That is what I've been offered.
