Hi all, new here, came in search of an answer to a question I've not been able to find elsewhere.

I am contemplating purchasing an Orange TB500H head, really love the sound clips of the amp I've found on YouTube and the fact it's purported not to have a ton of clean headroom is right up my alley - I want some tube dirt. My question pertains to the speaker inputs on the back. They appear to be Speakons, but I can't tell in enough detail if they're the hybrid connectors with the 1/4" input in the middle. Cab I'm currently using doesn't have an input for a Speakon connector.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Pick up a speakon to 1/4" cord.

Exactly. I've run the orange sp212 and an ampeg 410 seperate and at the same time. No worries its an amazing beast. Can't say enough about the sp212 as well

Does anybody make a Speakon to 1/4" cable shorter than 10 foot? Everything I'm finding online is 10' or more, kind of overkill for just a head-cab connection. Not adventurous enough to try shortening it on my own.

That link takes me to the wrong place, but after a Google search I did find the right one (no "s" at the end). Lava Cable - Tephra

Holy cow those are pricy, albeit I'm sure the quality is top notch.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
