They sound like the thunder from a stampede of a thousand wild stallions running at full gallop through a category six hurricane.

    Sounded good anyway... :)

Man the VBX body style will make that one REALLY unique and awesome looking bass. I'm in contact with Mr. Lecompte now working on getting a "stealth" looking STSS-6 :ninja: Hope the wait isn't too rough for ya :hyper: :D

  13. That sounds like a sick bass! I realllly like that body shape too...maybe I'll get another one lololol :hyper:

Haha only the cool people :p But seriously, the great thing about ordering a bass from Mr. Lecompte is that me and lo end both *might* have 6 stringers from the same builder that look COMPLETELY different in every aspect except for the headstock! I wish more luthiers went the way of JP, Lecompte, and Hanewickle and offered tons of different body shapes. Makes the bass feel a little bit more "you" if you know what i mean.

Sounds like a nice project though...I like the lookf of zebrawood, should be nice with the mahogany.

If fretless six says it's OK. He might be keeping it a surprise until it's done. :) If he says it's OK I'll post some pics in the Luthier's forum. That's the only place I'm allowed to post "works in progress".
