Organising MP3s

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by therealting, Jul 18, 2005.

  1. I just can't face going in and renaming them all one by one.

Is anyone using any good software for renaming MP3s which they can recommend?

When JMX logs in, he'll give you some excellent suggestions. He's the Tiger Woods of software recommendations. :)

iTunes keeps me happy as a clam.
  4. Last weekend my iTunes asked me if I wanted to download a newer version, which I hadn't done in a while, so I clicked "yes".

Took about 40 minutes to download, then when I went to run it the program popped up with errors. I tried to get around the error in all the different ways I knew, but eventually had to uninstall iTunes altogether and reload it from my cd - meaning I lost all my music library too :spit:

If you just need the ID3s done, rather than the actual filename:
If you need to do the actual filename... well, have fun :D.

  6. When you tag your files properly in iTunes you have the possibility of iTunes renaming the files for you as well. It's very useful.
