Hey kids, Uncle Rick here. I dog gone went and done it again. Spent money I don't really have on things I don't really need. Case in point, the Bassrig Super Vintage. I was drooling over this puppy ever since the first demo video dropped. I had to pounce as soon as I saw one offered used for a decent price. It was the only reasonable move to make. I could not WAIT to get it home and try it out. And sure enough, the thing sounds fantastic. I haven't played an actual SVT stack since the last time I played a festival. Probably 10yrs ago at least. But I have to imagine this is about as close to the real thing as you can get in an analog box. (A box that is built like a tank, I might add). Warm, gooey, life-like, thick, and gain for days. But don't take my word for it. Check out the demo video from Ian Allison that I have watched probably 500 times . . . at least. Particularly the "Stadium Stack" portion. And then grab a super absorbent microfiber towel of your choosing to mop up the drool. Gah! The drool! And yeah, it can do that and more. And it takes other pedals and drives just swimmingly. But the harsh reality is it will not replace my current setup of 5-6 pedals like I thought it might, and I cannot afford to keep all of the lovely things I want. So here we are. Allow my lack of impulse control and unsound fiscal policy to be your gain. The pedal is in fantastic cosmetic shape, with only one obvious nick that I could find, a teenie weenie one next to the ground lift switch on the front, as shown in the pic(s). It functions showroom-floor-fresh, and comes with all of the original goodies shown in the pics. Velcro professionally applied by the pervious owner. It has not left my smoke-free home since its arrival a short time ago. I am only asking what I paid for it plus shipping and fees. $420 shipped. And I will ship via USPS Priority Mail within two business days of receipt of payment. If you are willing to go the "friend and family" Paypal route, I would knock $10 off and accept $410 shipped. I stand by my years of positive feedback. I am not looking for trades at this time. Thanks for looking. And now, what you all really came here for . . . the pics!
Not some of my best work. I was in a bit of a rush last night. I didn't have time to maintain the high standard of Jacoby yarn-spinning to which the community has grown accustomed. But I do aim to please with every stroke of the keyboard.
