Sorry For the ****ty quality
Gain at 5
Gain at 9
Hmm, they dont seem to work!
right click save
Still cant get them to work! They are only 50k in size, is that correct?
there about 200kb each
and they both worked for me
Sorted, sorry about that! didnt seem to work in Mozilla Firefox (for some reason) but works fine in IE
The original sounds soooo much better then the GV2 which ive tried and hated.
i got mine for 20 GBP
witch is about 35 USD
£20!!! They go for about £50 on ebay. Ive purchased a circuit board from GeneralGuitarGadgets of the Guv'Nor so im hoping to build one in the near future.
BTW im from the UK too!
cool, you can build it how you like then. I saw one go for £70 the other day, i didnt kno where you were from sorry, and i thort i mite as well put it up for other people who look at it not from the UK.
It still doesn't work.
1. Don't use freewebs. Try something like purevolume or myspace.
2. Don't name files things like "my guv'nor with the gain at 5 and the bass at 6.mp3" Name it like "guvnor_gain5"
I would lvoe to hear it, and there's some suggestions to get it to work.
Just copy the link location and paste it another window.
Alright I got it to work. Cool stuff. What are you settings at? I'm not hearing much treble.
Am thinking of doing that too.
you guys have a weird idea of what good distortion sounds like. But maybe that's because I play metal, with a pick. Not really feeling the funk fuzz.
Care to explain more?
Well, when I think of distortion, I think of some sizzle, something that gnarls the sound.
Which my Guv'nor 2 is able to get perfectly. I think it's weird that the two clips posted show it more as a fuzz. It's probably one of the more versatile overdrives I've tried.
I don't know where I'm getting at... maybe I'm saying that the clips don't really show what it's capable of. Not that they're not appreciated. But if I had heard those clips before buying my Guv'nor I wouldn't have bought it.
its and overdrive not a fuzz or distortion.
it sounds better when i plug it into my 300watt amp
and the treble is on full.
